We believe public education is a civil right. Too many politicians play games with kids’ futures—especially in Black, Brown, and low-income communities.

We’re changing that: backing champions who put students first, arming them with the data, policies, and tools to lead, and taking the fight to state capitols where special interests try to monetize our schools and marginalize our kids.

We work to strengthen public schools by sharing research, spotlighting innovation, and building coalitions with educators, families, and community leaders—especially in Black, Brown, and low-income communities.

We also build political power to protect and improve public schools. That means supporting education champions through direct and independent expenditures, lobbying for legislative priorities, holding elected officials accountable, and mobilizing advocates and voters around education issues. We train candidates ready to reimagine a stronger public school system—and help shape a political landscape where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
